Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Redshirt Junior): Sutton competed in five tournaments during his redshirt junior season with the Hawks, totaling 13 rounds. He finished the year with 994 strokes and averaged 76.5 strokes per round.

Sutton’s best finish came at the Bearcat Dual Gender (10/20-21/25), where he tied for sixth out of 56 golfers after shooting a 223 (+7) with rounds of 77, 69, and 77. His second-round 69 marked his low round of the season.

2024-25 (Redshirt Sophomore): Sutton competed in four tournaments during his sophomore season with the Hawks, totaling eight rounds. He finished the year with 637 strokes and averaged 79.6 strokes per round.

He led the Hawks twice on the season, including at the Konzem-Capra Invitational (3/20-21/25), where he tied for sixth out of 57 golfers after shooting a 153 (+9). Sutton also led Quincy at the GLVC Championship (4/20-22/25), finishing 28th out of 76 golfers with a 223 (+7). His final-round 71 at the conference championship marked his low round of the season.

2023-24 (Sophomore): Sutton competed in four tournaments during his freshman season with the Hawks, totaling eight rounds. He finished the year with 637 strokes and averaged 79.6 strokes per round.

Sutton made his collegiate debut at the Arch Cup (9/5/23), where he tied for 42nd out of 88 golfers after shooting a 152 (+10) with matching rounds of 76.

Personal: Sutton hails from Macomb, Illinois, where he graduated from Macomb High School. As a member of the Bombers golf team, he contributed to Class 2A Regional Championships, two Sectional Championship victories, and three State Tournament appearances. Individually, Glenn finished 3rd in the 2022 Class 2A Regional Tournament and 5th at Sectionals, showcasing his skill and consistency on the course. He also helped his team set a new scoring record and season scoring average.

Off the course, Glenn is supported by his parents, Gary and Shannon Sutton, and his brother, Blaine Sutton. A passionate sports fan, he is a fan of  Anthony Rizzo and Justin Thomas and follows the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, and St. Louis Rams.
