Biography
2023-24 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Lucas saw an increase from his freshman season in events, total games, and average score per game. He competed in nine events, totaling 30Â games and averaging 180.467 pins per game. In the eleven events, Forthofer managed two top-25 finishes, along with a top-10 finish at the Clarke Invite.
2022-23 (Freshman): During the 2022-23 season, Lucas participated in seven events for the Hawks, bowling in a total of 17Â games. In those 17 games, he bowled an average of 168.176 pins per game. His best individual performance came during the Leatherneck Classic when he knocked down a total of 945 pins in 5 games, good for a 189.0 average.
Personal: Lucas comes to Quincy from a small town on the east coast, Dummerston, Vermont. With his time at Brattleboro Union High School, Forthofer became the first student of BHSU to win individual bowler of the year in Vermont, which he accomplished in his senior season. When he is not bowling, he enjoys playing video games and running his own podcast. Lucas is the son of Sara and Scott Forthofer and the brother of his only sibling, Charlize.
