2011-12 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Anderson saw action in 17 games, where he averaged 7.5 minutes, 1.1 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists. 

2010-11 (Freshman): In his first season with the Hawks, Tommie appeared in 17 games off the bench, where he averaged 8.6 minutes per game. Anderson totaled 17 points (0.9 points per game), 13 rebounds (0.8 rebounds per game), and 13 assists (0.8 assists per game). 

Personal: Tommie Anderson graduated from Edwardsville High School, where he earned three varsity letters in basketball and also played football. As a senior, he averaged 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game, earning All-Conference honors and honorable mention All-State recognition. He is the son of Tommie Anderson and Alethea Brown and has three brothers—Zion, Tommy, and William—and one sister, Ariel. He was born on November 20, 1991.
