High School: Bruxvoort prepped at Prairie City Monroe High School, where he is among the career leaders in scoring (1,784)... he holds the school record for points in a single game (47)... he was first team All-Iowa in his junior and senior seasons and second team all-state in his first two prep years... Bruxvoort averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, four steals and two blocks per game in his senior season, when the Mustangs went 23-3 advanced to the state tournament... PCM High School was third at the state tournament in his junior year, going 27-1.

Personal: Scottie was born June 17, 1993... he is majoring in communications... Scottie has three brothers, Steve, Dillon and Mark... he is the son of Dave and Karen Bruxvoort.
