Biography

2024-25 (Senior at Concordia Chicago): In his final season with the Cougars, Collicot had a career year, leading the team in minutes (837), minutes per game (33.5), points (447), points per game (17.9), field goals made (147), free throws made (132), rebounds (249), rebounds per game (10.0), assists (90), assists per game (3.6), blocks (26), and steals (87). His 3.48 steals per game were first in the NACC and fourth in Division III. He also led the NACC in rebounds per game, total steals, and 10 double-doubles.

Collicott had nine games with 20 or more points and four games with 30 or more points, which included a career-high 34 points against McMurry (11/22/24). He also had six games with five or more steals, including a career-high eight steals against Concordia Nebraska (1/25/25). Jacob notched a career-high 17 rebounds against Wisconsin Lutheran (12/4/24) and went a perfect 16-16 from the free throw line against Concordia Wisconsin (12/31/24), setting career-highs in free throws made and attempted.

2023-24 (Junior at Concordia Chicago): Appeared and started in 25 games, where he led the team in rebounds (175), steals (65), and blocks (29). His 65 steals and 2.6 steals per game were both top-25 in Division III and led the NACC. Overall, Jacob averaged 12.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. He shot .509 percent from the field (119-234) and .825 percent from the charity stripe (52-63). He scored in double-figures 18 times, including a 29-point performance against Edgewood (1/31/24), where he shot 13-16 from the field. Collicot also had four games with 10 or more rebounds. 

2022-23 (Sophomore at Concordia Chicago): In a shortened season for the Cougars, Collicott appeared and started in 10 games, averaging 31.1 minutes, 13.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. He led the team in rebounds (58) and blocks (10), and was top-five on the team in points (139), field goals made (54), three-point field goals made (7), free throws made (24), assists (27), steals (17), and minutes (311). He recorded double-digit points in eight of 10 games, including a 29-point outburst against Loras (11/8/22).

2021-22 (Freshman at Concordia Chicago): In his first collegiate season with the Cougars, Jacob appeared in 17 games and made one start, where he averaged 17.4 minutes per game. On the season, he averaged 5.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. He was third on the team with 29 steals (1.7 per game) and shot .446 percent from the field (33-74). He made his collegiate debut against Colorado College (11/5/21) and had a season-high 13 points against Concordia Wisconsin (1/8/22). In his first career start against Carroll (WI) (12/20/21), Jacob notched his first career double-double, scoring 13 points and hauling in a season-high 11 rebounds.

Personal: Jacob Collicott comes to Quincy University from Lafayette, Indiana, where he graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and competed as a Broncho in football, volleyball, and basketball. After four seasons at Concordia University Chicago, Jacob transferred to QU to continue his athletic and academic journey. He is the son of Ryan Collicott and Carrie Bragg and has two siblings, Olivia and Maddie. A well-rounded student-athlete, Jacob graduated with honors and was also part of the Unified Track and Field team during his senior year. Among his athletic highlights are being a three-time NCC and sectional champion and scoring 23 points in a standout game against a top-five team in the state. Outside of basketball, he enjoys going to the lake and hanging out with his friends. Jacob's favorite athletes are basketball legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, and he is a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Lakers.
