Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Herb Martin, from Edwardsville, Illinois, is a graduate of Edwardsville High School, where he starred for the Tigers basketball program. The son of Herb and Tawnya Martin, he built an impressive resume highlighted by being named Don Mauer Tournament MVP, Effingham Tournament MVP, Althoff Shootout MVP, and earning a spot on the school’s all-time top-10 single-season scoring list. His senior year performance included averaging 23.1 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals per game, helping lead Edwardsville to an SWC Conference Championship. A First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-State selection, Herb brought consistent scoring, playmaking, and defensive intensity to the court. His favorite athlete is Sharife Cooper, and he is a fan of the Golden State Warriors.
