Washington enters his first season as the Head JV coach as well as assistant coach for the men's basketball program.
Last season he was a member of one of the most successful QU basketball teams in school history. The 2016-2017 team won 25 games, third most in school history. Washington was an All GLVC performer, averaging 13.8 points per game. The Hawks also won the 2017 GLVC Western Division as well as making it to the second round of the NCAA tournament with Washington.
Prior to Quincy, Washington spent three seasons at Western Michigan University, winning the 2014 MAC Championship as well as making the NCAA tournament in 2014.
In his prep career at Kalamazoo Central, Washington won two consecutive state championships and was an all conference performer.
