Troy Potts enters his sixth season (2023-2024) as a part of the Men’s Basketball program. Potts was elevated to Assistant Coach/Head JV Coach on June 12, 2023.
Potts previously served as the Men's Basketball Graduate Assistant Coach from August 2021 to May 2023. During the 2022-23 season, Potts assisted the program in returning to the GLVC tournament for the first time since the 2016-17season.
Potts served the role of Student Director of Basketball Operations from 2018 to 2021. Potts assisted the coaching staff with practice planning, gear management, equipment organization, and travel itineraries. Potts played an integral part in the development of First-Team All-GLVC selection Tanner Stuckman.
Potts graduated with his Masters of Business Administration in the Spring of 2023 after completing his undergraduate degree in Business Management in Spring 2021.
Potts is a Quincy native and graduate of Quincy Notre Dame high school. Potts was a part of the Varsity Boys Basketball team for 2 years and was a part of the team's successful 2016-17 season in which they made an Elite 8 appearance.
