Pat Richardson

Pat Richardson enters his second season as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. During Richardson's 1st season as assistant coach, he was appointed Interim HC for the Hawks Basketball Team with a record of 3-1 which brought the team to a .500 record.

Prior to Quincy University, Richardson spent several years at Alabama A&M University. He served as Special Assistant to HC from 2018-20. Richardson helped the bulldogs to their most regular season wins since 2015-16. Home wins over Troy, Jacksonville St, and North Alabama were the first time the program had won three straight non-conference games since 2010-11 season.

Richardson was labeled Special Assistant on "The Hill" after spending 2013-17 as a Grad Coach for the Bulldogs. During the time, Richardson was able to coach 4 all conference players & also the schools first SEC Win over Mississippi St at Mississippi State.

Richardson spent undergrad years as Head Basketball Manager for the Bulldogs under the leadership of Coach Van Pettaway and Coach Willie Hayes. Richardson served as a hard-working manager with the mindset to "Outwork Everyone". Which led to Bachelor Degree in Sports Management !

Richardson is a native of Montgomery, Al where he attend Jefferson Davis High School.
