Kameron Whiteman enters his first season as a part of the men's basketball coaching staff, serving as both an assistant and head coach of the JV/Development program.
Prior to coming to QU, Whiteman spent two season on Jim Larranagas' staff at the University of Miami, acting as a student manager. Whiteman's time at "The U" was highlighted by a Final Four run during the 2023 season as the Hurricanes picked up wins over Drake, Indiana, #2 overall seed Houston and Texas before falling to UCONN in the semifinal.
The Lincoln, IL native spent two seasons playing at John Wood CC under now Hawks head coach, Brad Hoyt, helping the Trailblazers to an NJCAA DII national tournament birth in the 2020 season.
Whiteman is currently working towards a graduate degree here at the university.
