Biography

2024 (Sophomore): In her second season with the Hawks, Jason appeared and started in all 16 games, where she scored 10 goals and dished out six assists for a total of 16 points. She also recorded 13 ground balls, five caused turnovers, and three draw controls. Aurora made her first collegiate start to open the season against Davenport (2/8/25), where she recorded two ground balls in the 12-11 win. Jason had two multi-goal games this season, with her first career multi-goal game coming against Northern Michigan (3/5/25), where the Hawks won 14-13 in overtime.

2023 (Freshman): Appeared in nine games as a freshman, where she made her collegiate debut against Northern Michigan (2/18/24), where she also scored her first collegiate goal. She took two shots on the season, both being on goal and also scooped up one ground ball.

Personal: A native of South Lyon, Michigan, Aurora attended South Lyon High School, where she was a two-time all-conference lacrosse player, along with being named all-state. She also had the honor of serving as the team captain her senior season. Coming from the cold state of Michigan, Aurora played a lot of hockey as well, starting at the age of five. Outside of athletics, she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, playing golf, and riding ATVs. Aurora is the daughter of Ken and Robin Jason and the sister of her only sibling, Colten.

Why QU?
I chose QU because it felt like a home away from home. Coach Kim and the lacrosse team made me feel very welcome. I was always told I'd have a feeling when I got to the right school, and I felt it when I stepped on the field.
