2024 (Senior): Appeared in one game as a senior, seeing action against Lincoln (9/7/24).

2023 (Junior): Ty appeared in 11 games as a junior, serving as one of the primary holders for PATs. He made his collegiate debut against Chadron State (9/1/23).

2022 (Sophomore): Did not see action.

2021 (Freshman): Did not see action.

Personal: Phillips is from Jacksonville, Illinois, where he was a graduate of Jacksonville High School, home of the Crimsons. He is the son of Terry and Jennifer Grant and Chris Phillips and has several siblings: Taylor, Naylani, Ryan, Lyla, and CJ. His favorite athletes include Odell Beckham Jr., Justin Jefferson, Jerry Rice, and Michael Jordan, and he is a fan of the New York Giants.
