Quincy University Hawks

2026 (Freshman): Farrell made an immediate impact during her first season with the Hawks, appearing in 49 games with 40 starts while serving as the team’s primary left fielder. She hit .243 with a .322 on-base percentage and a .320 slugging percentage, recording three doubles, one triple, one home run, 10 RBIs, and 16 runs scored. She also drew 12 walks and went 8-for-10 in stolen base attempts.

Defensively, Farrell committed just three errors in 86 chances for a .965 fielding percentage. She made her collegiate debut against Kentucky Wesleyan (2/6/26), going 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI, before hitting her first collegiate home run in a game one win over Upper Iowa (3/21/26).

Personal: Samantha Farrell is a native of Orland Park, Illinois, and a graduate of Carl Sandburg High School. She is the daughter of Jean and Jamie Farrell and has one sibling, Kaitlyn. Away from athletics and academics, Farrell enjoys going to the gym and shopping. Her favorite athlete is Jarren Duran, and she is a fan of the Chicago White Sox.
