Personal: Duke is from Tipton, Missouri, and attended Tipton High School. He is the son of Dr. Bill and Amy Duke and has three siblings, David, Jacob, and Connor. Both of his parents and his brother, Jacob, are Quincy University graduates. His father, Bill, played football at Quincy, his mother, Amy, played softball, and Jacob played football for the Hawks.
During his high school career, Duke helped Tipton win a Missouri Class 1 Football State Championship and a Central State 8 Conference Championship. He was named Missouri Class 1 Defensive Player of the Year, was a two-time CS8 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, two-time All-State selection, three-time All-District honoree, and three-time All-Conference selection. Duke also helped his baseball team reach the Missouri Class 2 semifinals twice.
Academically, Duke was a three-time Academic All-State selection, served as National Honor Society Vice President and Student Body Vice President, and ranked in the top three of his class. Away from the field, he enjoys recreational sports and weightlifting. His favorite teams are the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers.
