2013: Played in seven games, starting four on the offensive line.

2012: McLaughlin did not see varsity action.

2011: McLaughlin played all 10 games on the defensive front for the Hawks… he was seventh on the team with 33 tackles (22 solo)… he had a season-high eight stops (five solo) in the season finale at McKendree on Nov. 19… McLaughlin had multiple tackles in seven games… he tied for second on the team with 6.5 tackles for loss, including three in the season opener against Iowa Wesleyan on Sept. 3… he also had 1.5 tackles for loss at Taylor on Oct. 1 and against St. Francis (Ind.) on Oct. 29… McLaughlin tied for third on the team with two sacks on the season, recording both against Iowa Wesleyan… he was the only player on the team to have at least two sacks in one game…he also had two pass breakups, forced two fumbles and had one fumble recovery.

2010: Played in three games...Finished with two solo tackles.

High School: Graduated from Lake Howell High School...Earned two varsity letters in football...Named team Defensive Lineman of the Year as a senior.
