2024 (Senior): For the second straight season, Nathan appeared and started in every game for the Hawks. He helped the Hawks have one of the best rushing offenses in the GLVC once again, as they were third in total yards with 1629 and led the conference with 5.4 yards per carry. He was also a part of an offensive line that only allowed seven sacks on the season, which led the GLVC and tied for fourth in all of Division II.

2023 (Junior): As a junior, Nathan appeared and started in all 11 games for the Hawks on the o-line. Smith helped the Hawks lead the GLVC in total rush yards with 2227 (4.9 YPC), with the offense rushing for over 100 yards nine times.

2022 (Sophomore): In his second season with the Hawks, Nathan appeared in six games, making one start on the QU offensive line. His collegiate debut came in a 53-14 win over Trinity International (9/8/22), and his first collegiate start came against William Jewell (11/12/22).

Personal: Nathan Smith hails from Roeland Park, Kansas, and is a proud graduate of Bishop Miege High School, home of the Stags. He is the son of Annemarie Smith and Francisco Gutierrez.
An exceptional student-athlete, Nathan was inducted into the National Honor Society and thrived both in the classroom and on the field. His football accolades include:

- Senior Team Captain
- Key contributor to three Class 4A Kansas State Championships
Outside of football, Nathan enjoys the outdoors—fishing, hunting, and golfing are some of his favorite pastimes. He looks up to Creed Humphrey and is a passionate fan of Kansas City sports, cheering on the Chiefs, Royals, Sporting KC, and his hometown Kansas Jayhawks.
