Biography

2023 (Senior): In his final season with the Hawks, Kenshawn appeared in nine games and recorded six tackles, one pass breakup, and forced his first career fumble against Fort Lauderdale (9/16/23).

2022 (Junior): Bragg saw action in eight games as a junior, where he recorded nine tackles and had three pass breakups. 

2021 (Sophomore): In ten games, Bragg had 34 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, three pass breakups, and a fumble recovery. Bragg had his first career pick-six with a 50-yard house call against Missouri S&T (10/2/22), which ended up being the game-winning touchdown in a 31-28 victory. Kenshawn's first career fumble recovery was a 57-yard scoop and score against Indianapolis (10/23/21).

2020-21 (Redshirt Freshman): In a shortened season, Bragg saw action in both scheduled games for the Hawks, where he recorded three tackles and had an interception. His first career tackle came against Indianapolis (4/3/21) and his first career interception came against McKendree (4/10/21).

2019 (Freshman): Did not see action.

Personal: Kenshawn Bragg, a proud native of Chicago, Illinois, attended Simeon Career Academy, where he played football for the Wolverines. During his high school career, Kenshawn was part of a dominant program that secured three city championships and one Prep Bowl championship. Off the field, he is a licensed barber, a craft he’s passionate about and continues to hone. Kenshawn draws inspiration from Deion Sanders and is a dedicated fan of the Chicago Bears. Beyond sports and his profession, he actively gives back to his community. Alongside his family, he frequently donates food and blankets to those in need at Tent City in Chicago, showing a deep commitment to making a positive impact. He is the son of Aisha Taylor and Kenneth Bragg and has one sibling, Kerron Bragg.
