Personal: Kelton is from Loves Park, Illinois, where he attended Harlem High School. He thrived academically and athletically during his time as a Huskie, as he was the team leader in touchdown receptions and was a part of the furthest playoff run in playoff history. In the classroom, he was on the honor roll every year.

In his free time, Busekros enjoys playing frisbee golf and watching his favorite sports teams which including the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks. Kelton is the son of Candi and Keith Busekros and the brother of Kodee.
