Biography

2025 (Sophomore): Backman appeared in two games during his sophomore season with the Hawks, contributing in the defensive backfield. Backman made his collegiate debut against McKendree (10/4/25), gaining his first game experience with Quincy.

2024 (Freshman): Did not see action.

Personal: Beckman attended Springfield High School in Springfield, IL, where he played for the Senators. He excelled both academically and athletically, earning four-time Academic All-Conference honors, being named Academic All-State in 2023 and 2024, and receiving the 2024 District 186 Superintendent Award for Achievement in Business Education.

In athletics, Kameron was a Varsity Letter Winner in Football, Wrestling, and Track. He earned Central State Eight All-Conference honors twice for football.

He is the son of Troy and Ashlee Dalby. In his free time, Kameron enjoys weightlifting, music, and fishing. His favorite athlete is Micah Parsons, and he is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
