Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Junior): In his second season with QU, Julius saw action in six games and recorded one tackle in a win over Lincoln (9/7/24).

2023 (Redshirt Sophomore): In his first season with the Hawks, Barfield appeared in three games, where he recorded four tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. He made his collegiate debut in a Hawk uniform against Modonna (9/9/23), where he made his first tackle. His first career sack came in a win over Fort Lauderdale (9/16/23).

2022 (Sophomore at FAU): Did not see action.

2021 (Freshman at FAU): Did not see action. 

Personal: Julius joined the Quincy football team after spending two seasons at Florida Atlantic University. He spent his high school career at Eau Gallie High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner for the Commodores. Outside of football, Barfield enjoys reading, and his favorite athletes are Khalil Mack, Julio Jones, and Odell Beckham Jr. Julius is the son of Kimberly Barfield.

Why QU?
I chose QU because I wanted a change of scenery and felt that QU was the best university for me to finish my college career and get my degree.
