Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Fifth): In his second season with the Hawks, Tamatekou appeared in nine games, where he recorded seven tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack. He recorded his first tackle and sack in a victory over Lincoln (9/7/24).

2023 (Senior): In his first season with the Hawks, Josaphat appeared in five games. He made his debut in a Hawk uniform against Chadron State (9/1/23).

2022 (Junior at Upper Iowa): Did not see action.

2021 (Sophomore at Ellsworth CC): In his second season with the Panthers, he appeared in nine games where he recorded 14 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He recorded his first career sack against Grand View University (9/12/21).

2019 (Freshman at Ellsworth CC): In his first collegiate season, Tamatekou appeared in eight games for the Panthers, where he recorded six tackles. He made his collegiate debut against Hutchinson Community College (8/22/19). His first career tackle was recorded against Iowa Western Community College (10/5/19).

Personal:  Josaphat spent two seasons at Ellsworth Community College and a season with the Peacocks of Upper Iowa before coming to Quincy. He is originally from Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated from Lincoln Park High School. His favorite athlete is Khalil Mack, and he is a fan of the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Los Angeles Lakers.
