Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Sophomore): Johnnie appeared in all nine games for the Hawks, starting in eight of them, where he recorded 20 tackles, broke up four passes, and recovered a fumble. He recorded his first career pass breakup in a 21-14 win over Missouri S&T (9/21/24), which was his first career start, where he had two pass breakups to go along with three tackles. His first career fumble recovery came against Missouri Western (11/16/24) in the final game of the season.

2023 (Freshman): Robinson appeared in four games for the Hawks as a freshman, making his debut in an 89-0 win over Madonna (9/9/23). He recorded his first career tackle in a 49-0 win against Fort Lauderdale (9/16/23). 

Personal: Johnnie “Jon Jon” Robinson hails from Edwardsville, Illinois, and is a proud graduate of Edwardsville High School, where he competed for the Tigers. He is the son of Roshonda and Art Pollard and has three brothers: Malik, Dylan, and Jaylen.

Johnnie earned 1st Team All-Conference honors during his time as a student-athlete. Though football became his passion, he also competed in basketball and track during high school. Off the field, he is deeply interested in learning about U.S. presidents and Black history, reflecting his love of education and curiosity about the world.

His talents stretch beyond sports—Johnnie is a musician, playing both the piano and drums, and enjoys working out, playing basketball, and video games in his free time. Some of his favorite athletes include LeBron James and Deion Sanders. He also roots for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Buffalo Bills.
