2025 (Redshirt Freshman at Western Illinois): Metzdorff appeared in two games during his redshirt freshman season at Western Illinois, contributing on the offensive line. Metzdorff made his collegiate debut against Illinois (8/29/25) and also saw action against Valparaiso (9/13/25).

2024 (Freshman at Western Illinois): Did not see action.

Personal: Metzdorff is from Bloomington, Illinois, and attended Bloomington Central Catholic High School. Before coming to Quincy, Metzdorff spent two years at Western Illinois. He is the son of Alyson and Paul Metzdorff and has two siblings, Bella and Cooper.

During his high school career, Metzdorff helped Bloomington Central Catholic win an Illini Prairie Conference Championship as a senior. He earned All-Conference and All-Area honors on the offensive line, served as a team captain, and was a multi-sport athlete. In college, he gained experience as a two-way player on the offensive and defensive lines.

Metzdorff was an honor roll student throughout high school and earned Dean’s List recognition three times in college. He also led his previous college in community service hours, served his community through churches in high school, and read books to children at his previous school.

Away from the field, Metzdorff enjoys fishing and country music. His favorite athletes are Ray Lewis and Jason Kelce, while his favorite teams are the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago Cubs.
