Biography
2026 (Freshman): Uhles contributed both in the circle and at the plate during her first season with the Hawks. In the circle, she made 15 appearances with four starts, going 1-2 with a 5.39 ERA, 1.86 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts across 37.2 innings.
Uhles made her collegiate pitching debut against Missouri Western State (2/13/26), tossing 1.1 scoreless innings with three strikeouts. She later earned the first win of her career after throwing the final 1.2 innings in a walk-off win over Augustana (2/28/26).
At the plate, Uhles recorded three hits, two runs scored, three RBIs, 11 walks, and two hit by pitches. Her first collegiate hit came on a single against Northwest Missouri State (2/28/26), and later that same day, she delivered a walk-off bases-loaded hit by pitch in a 9-8 win over Augustana.

Personal: Hannah Uhles is a native of Carrollton, Illinois, and a graduate of Carrollton High School. She is the daughter of James and Amelia Uhles and has three siblings: Ava, Noah, and Caleb. Uhles was the valedictorian of her graduating class and was heavily involved on campus, participating in Spanish Club, Art Club, Civics Club, Physics Club, Mathletes, and FBLA throughout all four years.
A standout multi-sport athlete, Uhles surpassed 1,000 career assists as a setter during the 2023-24 volleyball season while also putting together one of the most decorated softball careers in Carrollton history. As a senior, she recorded 87 hits and 78 RBIs, both Illinois Class 1A records, while leading Class 1A with 21 home runs and setting a school record with a .649 batting average. In the circle, she went 18-1 with a 1.25 ERA and 117 strikeouts across 89.1 innings.
Uhles helped lead Carrollton to its first-ever Class 1A Softball State Championship, capping a historic 38-1 season that set a school record for wins. Outside of athletics, she enjoys watching Netflix, playing pickleball, reading, and doing her nails. Her favorite athletes are Nijaree Canady and Shohei Ohtani, and she is a fan of Nebraska women’s volleyball and the St. Louis Cardinals.
