Quincy University Hawks

2026 (Freshman): Winter appeared in 36 games and made 23 starts during her freshman season with the Hawks. She hit .257 with a .329 on-base percentage and a .459 slugging percentage, recording six doubles, three home runs, and 12 RBIs.

Winter made her collegiate debut against Tiffin (2/7/26), going 1-for-1 with a double. She hit the first home run of her collegiate career with a solo shot against Wayne State (2/21/26).

Personal: Haleigh Winter is a native of LaGrange, Missouri, and a graduate of Highland High School. She is the daughter of Nick and Jessica Garkie and Jon and Shanna Winter and has five siblings: Haddie, Juniper, Dakota, Ivy, and Everley. Winter was highly involved on campus, participating in Student Council, Science Club, History Club, and FCCLA.

A standout on the softball field, Winter helped lead Highland High School to the 2024 Missouri Class 2 State Championship. She also holds the school records for home runs and career RBIs, cementing her place as one of the program’s top offensive performers.

Outside of athletics, Winter enjoys crocheting.
