2026 (Sophomore): Stieferman saw her sophomore season cut short due to injury, but still contributed both in the circle and at the plate. She made five pitching appearances, going 0-2 with an 8.75 ERA across eight innings while striking out 10 batters. Offensively, Stieferman went 3-for-14 with one double, three RBIs, and two runs scored.

2025 (Freshman): Stieferman made 27 appearances in the circle during her first season with the Hawks, including 15 starts. She threw 93.2 innings, went 4-10 with a 6.50 ERA, and recorded six complete games. Her first career win came against Lake Erie (2/28/25), where she threw seven innings and struck out a season-high seven batters in a 3-2 victory. She later tossed her first career complete-game shutout against Davenport (3/19/25), allowing just one hit and one walk across five innings while striking out four in a 9-0 win.

At the plate, Stieferman went 7-for-34 with three doubles and two RBIs. She recorded her first collegiate hit in game two against Illinois Springfield (3/9/25), going 2-for-2 with a pair of singles, and drove in her first run on a run-scoring groundout in game one against Central Missouri (4/16/25).

Personal: Emma Stieferman is a native of Jefferson City, Missouri, and a graduate of Capital City High School. She is the daughter of Erin and Scott Stieferman and has one brother, Chase. Stieferman was a standout both on the field and in the classroom, serving as Student Body Vice President and earning Academic All-State honors all four years.

During her decorated career at Capital City, Stieferman finished third in program history with 113 career hits, 89 career RBIs, and a .409 career on-base percentage, while also ranking fifth with a .341 career batting average. As a senior, she hit .447, the fourth-best single-season mark in school history, and posted a .520 on-base percentage, which ranked second in program history.

Outside of softball, Stieferman enjoys listening to music, playing guitar, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite athlete is Caitlin Clark, and she is a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
