2024 (Junior): As a junior, Talbott saw action in two games.

2023 (Sophomore): In his second season with QU, Dawson appeared in two games for the Hawks. He made his collegiate debut on the field in a win over Chadron State. He recorded his first career tackle and tackle for loss in a shutout win over Fort Lauderdale (9/16/23).

2022 (Freshman): Did not see action.

Personal: Dawson Talbott is from Perry, Missouri, and attended Mark Twain High School, where he competed as a standout multi-sport athlete for the Tigers. The son of David and Angela Talbott, and sibling to Lincoln, Dawson was involved in football, baseball, track, and was a member of the National Honor Society. He earned multiple accolades on the football field, including 1st Team All-District and unanimous 1st Team All-Conference honors at both linebacker and tight end. He was also recognized as a 1st Team All-Media linebacker and earned a spot on the 1st Team Do or Die Bowl roster as a linebacker. His senior season included 26 tackles for loss, contributing to a career total of 45 TFLs. A two-year team captain, Dawson also set the school record for the 40-yard dash in the 230+ lbs weight class with a time of 4.79 seconds. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, riding motocross, lifting, and water skiing. His favorite athletes include Aaron Donald, Nick Bosa, LeBron James, and Jason Kelce, and he roots for the Los Angeles Rams, Milwaukee Bucks, St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Blues.
