Personal: Collin Parsons is from Saint Peters, MO, and attended Francis Howell Central High School, where he was a two-sport athlete. He is the son of Angie and Todd Parsons and has three siblings: Braden, Kailyn, and Lauren Parsons. His mother, Angie Parsons, played college soccer for Lewis and Clark C.C. (Godfrey, IL) from 1998-1999, where she won a National Championship in 1999. She was a two-time Region XXIV MVP, two-time NJCAA All-American, two-time NSCAA All-American, National Player of the Year 1999, National Tournament MVP 1999, and was inducted into the NJCAA Women's College Hall of Fame in 2017. She later played for Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville until an injury ended her career.

In football, Collin was an All-Conference and All-District running back and linebacker and was voted athlete of the week by STLToday. He was nominated for Prep Redzone's National Player of the Week and selected to play in the STL high school All-Star game. He also was nominated for St. Charles County Athlete of the Year. During his career, Collin ran for 341 yards and six touchdowns in a district game, setting a school record. He also holds the records for most points scored in a season (158) and average KOR yards for his career (32.3). His career stats include 3,016 all-purpose yards, 2,537 total offensive yards, 2,209 rushing yards, 329 receiving yards, 27 rushing touchdowns, 212 points scored, five touchdown receptions, three sacks, 170 tackles, and 523 kickoff return yards.

In track, Collin finished 1st in the pentathlon in his senior year and broke the 19-year school record with 2,654 points scored. His hobbies include fishing, wakeboarding, tubing, playing basketball, and spending time with friends. His favorite athlete is Marshawn Lynch, and his favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks. Collin enjoys supporting his school's teams, being involved in the student section, and participating in community service work.

Why QU?
I chose QU because it felt like the right fit for me athletically and academically. The coaches were very welcoming, and I love what they have planned for the program to grow. QU is not too far from home, and I really like the town of Quincy.
