Tim Ladd is entering his third year as an assistant coach for the Quincy football team. He is the offensive line coach as well as the team’s Recruiting Coordinator.

In his two years at Quincy, the Offensive Line unit has helped pave the way to back-to-back top three finishes in total offense in the GLVC, as well as a top 25 finish in all of Division II. Five different offensive
lineman have earned All-GLVC honors, highlighted by three time All-GLVC BJ Wilson. In 2022 BJ was selected First Team All-GLVC for the second consecutive season, earned a spot on the D2 Elite 100 First
Team, and accepted an invite to the NFL East-West Shrine Game. Wilson signed a UDFA deal with the Carolina Panthers.

Prior to QU, Ladd spent two seasons coaching the tight ends at Ave Maria University. In his time at Ave Maria, Ladd held additional roles as the Director of Football Operations, Recruiting Coordinator, and
Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.

Ladd began his coaching career at his alma mater, Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois. In his five seasons
at Saint Xavier, the Cougars made four NAIA Playoff appearances. Numerous offensive linemen received all-conference recognition under Ladd’s direction and two were named NAIA All-Americans including four-time All-MSFA First Teamer and two-time NAIA All-American Justin Hunter.

Ladd was a four year starter on the offensive line for SXU, and was a member of the 2011 NAIA National Championship team. In his four years as a player the Cougars held a record of 45-8, and made it to at least the semi-finals in three out of four years. Ladd was a team captain, two-time All-MSFA selection and was selected as a 2013 College Football America Pre-Season All-American.

Ladd is from Chicago, Illinois, and attended St. Rita High School in Chicago’s Southside.
