Mayo Bola enters his first season with the Quincy University football program in 2026 as a defensive graduate assistant, working primarily with the Hawks' defensive line.
Bola begins his coaching career after completing his collegiate playing career at both the junior college and NCAA Division I levels. He spent three seasons on the defensive line at College of DuPage from 2020-22 before transferring to Western Illinois University, where he competed from 2022-25.
During his time at Western Illinois, Bola earned the program's 2024 Academic MVP Award, recognizing his excellence in the classroom.
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Bola later moved to Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Western Illinois University in 2024 after previously attending the College of DuPage. Outside of football, Bola is a fan of the Green Bay Packers.
