Biography
Personal: Josephine Hocking, from Liberty, Illinois, is a graduate of Liberty High School. She is the daughter of Jeremy and Brandy Hocking and has three siblings: Dylan, Allie, and Mason. A well-rounded student, Josephine was honored as Student of the Year while excelling in multiple sports, including cheerleading, cross country, track, and softball. She also helped her team capture the 2025 Class 1A regional and sectional championships. Beyond athletics, she enjoys reading, drawing, and cooking. She looks up to Riley Gaines Barker as a role model and cheers for the Chicago Cubs. Outside of school and sports, Josephine is an active member of St. Brigid’s Church.
