Biography

2024-25 (Senior): In her senior season, Taya appeared in 31 games this season off the bench for the Hawks, where she averaged 16.7 minutes, 3.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.

2023-24 (Junior): Played in all 28 games for the Hawks, averaging 20 minutes a game. Performed consistently within the top-3 of the team in free throw percentage and collected 39 steals in the season. Averaged five points a game.

Personal: Taya comes to Quincy from Northern Michigan University, where she played her first three years of collegiate basketball. In those three years, Stevenson appeared in 63 games, starting 20, and averaged 3.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists. When she is not on the court, Taya enjoys lifting, drawing, and surfing. She is the daughter of Kim and Murray Stevenson and the sister to Shanae and Jayden.

Why QU?
I chose QU because I loved the coaching staff, and I also really like the smaller campus size and the feeling of a community here.
