Quincy University Hawks

2024-25 (Senior): Stratton appeared and started in all 33 games for the Hawks, averaging 29.3 minutes, 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 steals. Karsyn shot .436 percent from the field (134-307) and also blocked 20 shots, which was third on the team.

2023-24 (Junior): Started all 28 games, averaging 6 points a game for the Hawks. Took 61 balls of the board, blocked nine shots, and stole from the opposing team 13 times.

Personal: Karsyn Stratton hails from Tiffin, Iowa, and Clear Creek Amana High School as a shooting guard for the Hawks who transferred from Kirkwood Community College. At Kirkwood, Stratton played three years of basketball (the first at the helm of Covid-19) and helped her team to a NJCAA national championship in 2022. The Eagles were 92-6 during her three years, and Stratton was selected as Second Team All-Conference each year and received  Academic All-American honors during her latter two seasons.  Her athleticism spanned across many sports, including volleyball, cross country, track, softball, and basketball. Stratton was a four-time all-conference and four-time all-state honoree and finished her basketball career as a Clipper with over 1,600 points and the first state tournament appearance in Clear Creek Amana history. She was also in the National Honor Society and was a Youth Salute participant. Stratton's favorite athletes are Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, and Kirk Cousins. She is the daughter of Travis and Suzy Stratton and has three siblings--Cade, Kaylee, and Kennedy. 

Why QU?
I chose Quincy because I loved the coaching staff and the campus, and I felt as though this would be a place where I could succeed in the classroom and on the court best.
