Biography
2024-25 (Senior): Williams appeared in 32 games for the Hawks, starting in 31, where she averaged 23.3 minutes. Cymirah was third on the team with 10.5 points per game and led the team in rebounds, averaging 9.0 a game, which was also second in the GLVC. She was second on the team in steals (45) and blocks (30). Her 269 total rebounds are the fourth most in a single season in Quincy history.Â

2023-2024 (Senior): Appeared in every game with 24 starts and 685 minutes. Was powerful under the basket with 269 total rebounds, ranking 3rd in the GLVC in total rebounds and defensive rebounds, and ranking 21st in the nation with defensive rebounds per game. She recorded 12 double-doubles and scored over 20 points for the Hawks on four occasions, including a personal-best 30 points against Illinois-Springfield.

Personal: Cymirah is a 6’0 forward coming to us from Butler Community College. Butler Community College is part of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC), arguably one of the top conferences in the nation. During her time at Butler, Cymirah was a key contributor and helped lead the team to an overall record of 38-17 in her two seasons. Cymirah is an all-around player who averaged 6.4 points per game. She shot 43% from the floor, averaged 1.7 steals per game and 1.4 assists per game. One of her best attributes on the floor is her ability to rebound, she averaged 5.5 rebounds per game this past year. Cymirah's favorite athlete is Candace Parker and she enjoys hanging out with friends in her free time. Her parents are Cheronda and Calvin Williams, and she has one sibling, Jahlin.Â

I chose QU because it fit my academic needs and I felt like Quincy could be a place for me to work on growth and prosper in what I live and breathe, which is basketball.
