Personal: Max comes to QU after putting together a highly decorated high school campaign at Greenwood Christian Academy. As a member of the Cougars basketball team, Booher was named to the Prephoops all-state team twice, also earning a small school all-state nod in the process while leading his team to both sectional and regional championships in the 23-24 season, with the latter being the first in the programs history.

In addition, Booher was a three-time team MVP, three-time Offensive Player of the Year and Student Athlete of the Year at Greenwood Christian where he now sits atop the program record books in three pointers and second in total points. Three all-conference choices, two all-county selections, an Indystar all-area nod and a top 60 designation from Hoosier Basketball rounded out a phenomenal prep career on the court for the Greenwood, IN native.

Off the court, Booher was named to the academic all-state team as well as earning a Johnson County Scholar Athlete of the Year title while serving as a National Honor Society and Key Club member. Booher was a Cum Laude graduate and consistent honor roll student.

Outside of playing basketball, Booher can be found spending his time in the weight room or on the golf course, along with cheering on his favorite teams: the Golden State Warriors and Duke Blue Devils. His favorite athletes are Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry and Scottie Scheffler.

Why QU?
Booher chose QU because of the close-knit environment that really felt like home as well as the lovely river town locale that Quincy offers.
