Biography
2023-24 (Senior): As a senior, Ringwald saw action in eight tournaments, totaling 19 rounds, where he averaged 80.2 strokes per round. His best finish came during the QU Invite when he finished tied for sixth place. He also led the Hawks in the Bearcat Dual Gender and the Arch Cup.

2022-23 (Junior): In five tournaments, Patrick shot in 12 rounds, where he averaged 79.7 strokes per round. His best finish of the season came during the McKendree University Invite, where he finished 16th out of 48 golfers.

2021-22 (Sophomore): In his second season, Ringwald participated in seven tournaments for a total of 17 rounds, where he averaged 80.6 strokes per round. He finished tied for sixth out of 44 golfers in the Quincy Invitational, which was his best finish of the season.

2020-21 (Freshman): As a freshman, Patrick appeared in all nine tournaments for the Hawks, totaling 22 rounds, where he averaged 82.2 strokes per round. His highest finish came during the Quincy Invitation when he finished 24th out of 40 total golfers.

Personal: Patrick Ringwald is from St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from St. John Vianney High School, where he competed for the Griffins. A dedicated golfer, Patrick played varsity all four years and contributed to a district championship in 2016. One of his proudest accomplishments was winning the 2019 Lake Forest Invitational as an individual. Patrick comes from a family with a strong athletic background—his father, David, played soccer at Bellarmine and graduated in 1990, while his sisters, Mary, played field hockey at Bellarmine, and Bridget, played volleyball at Westminster. His brother Michael is also part of the Ringwald crew. Patrick enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time and looks up to athletes like Jordan Spieth and Marc-André Fleury. He’s a loyal fan of the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals.

I chose QU because it had my desired major, and I liked the family environment the campus possessed.
