ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The No. 9 Quincy University women's wrestling team opened its 2026-27 dual season in dominant fashion Wednesday evening, defeating NAIA Missouri Baptist University 37-11 at the Carl & Deloris Petty Sports and Recreation Complex. Quincy controlled the matchup from start to finish, winning eight of the 10 contested bouts, including six victories by fall, one by technical fall and one by decision. The Hawks also picked up several impressive victories over ranked NAIA opponents while securing their first dual victory of the season.

Missouri Baptist responded at 110 pounds, where NAIA No. 8 De'yton Young defeated Alisa Carter by fall in 2:19. However, the Hawks quickly regained control and never looked back.
