LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Quincy University women's volleyball program has been recognized for its outstanding academic performance with the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award. The award, announced this week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, honors collegiate and high school programs that maintained a year-long team GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Quincy was one of 1,450 programs across the country to receive the honor, marking another year the Hawks have demonstrated their commitment to excellence beyond the court.
The AVCA Team Academic Award celebrates programs that not only compete at a high level athletically but also prioritize academic success. For QU women's volleyball, this is the eighth time the team has won the award, and the sixth consecutive season dating back to 2020. Quincy women's volleyball continues to embody that balance, setting a strong example of what it means to be a student-athlete at the university.
