INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Quincy native
Bradyn Little has burst onto the collegiate scene in remarkable fashion, earning the title of 2025 GLVC Freshman of the Year after a stellar debut campaign under center for the Hawks. The Quincy Senior High School product becomes just the second player in program history to receive the award, joining running back Chris Harris, who earned the honor in 2014, and marks the fourth major conference award in QU history. His selection, paired with
Jaylin Vaughn's Defensive Player of the Year recognition, signals a bright and rapidly emerging future for Quincy Football.
Little made an immediate impact in his first season piloting the Hawks' offense, displaying poise, accuracy, and playmaking ability well beyond his years. Through eleven games, he ranked fourth in the GLVC in both completion percentage (65.2%) and total passing yards (2,492), while finishing fifth in passing yards per game (226.5). He also placed sixth in total offense (2,527 yards) and seventh in total offense per game (228.8), showcasing his ability to extend plays and move the chains consistently. Little accounted for 21 total touchdowns, 17 through the air and four on the ground, establishing himself as a dual-threat presence who could attack defenses in multiple ways.
Stepping into the starting role as a true freshman is no easy task, yet Little handled the spotlight with the confidence of a seasoned veteran. His decision-making improved each week, his command of the offense grew stronger, and his ability to deliver in high-pressure moments quickly earned the trust of both teammates and coaches. Surrounded by a dynamic core of young skill position players, Little has positioned himself as the face of QU's offensive future.
With his hometown behind him and his first collegiate season already decorated with major hardware,
Bradyn Little looks poised to lead an exciting, high-powered Hawks offense inside QU Stadium for years to come.
