INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced its 2026 STUNT Preseason Coaches' Poll on Friday, with the Quincy University Hawks receiving 20 points to place seventh in the league standings. This year also marks the inaugural season for the GLVC sponsoring STUNT as a conference sport.
The Hawks enter their second year of competition under head coach Diane Shoemaker, who leads a roster blending experience and new talent. Quincy returns 15 players from last year's inaugural squad while also welcoming nine freshmen to the program.
The Hawks will look to build upon their 2-14 record from the 2025 campaign, using last year's foundation as a springboard for continued growth in their second season.
In the poll, Maryville was selected as the preseason favorite after qualifying for the 2025 National STUNT Championships, earning 46 points and four first-place votes. Trevecca Nazarene tied Maryville with four first-place votes and 40 points, while Purdue Northwest and Ferris State followed in third and fourth, respectively. Quincy was slotted seventh ahead of Southwest Baptist.
