Brookfield, Ill. - Teon Dollard was named to the Don Hansen All-American Honorable Mention list on Friday, December 20th after a standout year with the Hawks football team. The Don Hansen team carries out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at age 75 in 2010. Hansen created his own football-focused weekly gazette and began selecting an All-American team in 1988.

The graduate senior ran 961 yards for the Hawks and contributed to nearly half of Quincy's touchdowns this fall in the Hawks' best conference season in program history. Dollard was named Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a three-touchdown performance in his final outing at QU Stadium against the Cardinals of William Jewell College. His best game, however, came the following week at Southwest Baptist University, where he ran 251 yards and scored another three touchdowns for the Hawks in their final conference win of the season. Dollard was also named to the GLVC All-Conference First Team.

Dollard scored eight of the last ten touchdowns for the Hawks, leading Quincy's ground crew to top the GLVC in rushing yards per carry. Dollard finished his career ranked top-25 in the nation in multiple offensive categories.

The Lake City, Florida, native is the third Hawk in the last five years to receive the honor with Peyton Chappel and BJ Wilson having earned Honorable Mention honors in 2022.
