QUINCY Ill.- The Quincy University Women's Lacrosse team played host to Northern Michigan University on Sunday (March 5th). The Hawks would lose this contest 15-4.
After Quincy's defense held the Wildcats to only two goals in the first quarter, Amelia Ham would score the Hawks first goal of the game at the 12:35 minute mark in the second quarter cutting the deficit to 3-1. Danielle Robinson would score the second goal 4 minutes later to make it a 3-2 game.Â
Northern Michigan would score 4 unanswered goals to open the game up 7-2. Patricia Chavira would score her sixth goal of the year in the third quarter. The Hawks defense could not stop the bleeding as the Wildcats would score another 8 goals. Bianca Johnson would score her fourth goal of the season with less than 3 minutes remaining.Â
Quincy University will travel to Florida next and be back in action on Monday March 13, against Palm Beach Atlantic University for a 6:00 p.m. startÂ
