SAINT CHARLES, Mo. – Making an appearance in the Great Lakes Valley Conference quarterfinals for the first time in six years, the Hawks drew the top-seeded University of Indianapolis Greyhounds on Thursday, March 2nd. QU would force the game into double overtime, but the Greyhounds would come out with the 79-77 win.

In the early going, the Greyhounds went on a quick 8-0 run to take a seven point lead at 11-4. QU used their free throw shooting to stay in the contest as they went 13 of 14 from the charity stripe. Zion Richardson got a lay up to fall with five seconds left in the half.
