QUINCY, Ill. – The Hawks battled the William Jewell College Cardinals on Thursday, February 16^th in Pepsi Arena. Looking to improve their position in the conference, a win would have gone a long way for the Hawks, but the Cardinals would come victorious with the score of 66-53.

QU did not have a single player reach double figures in scoring as 10 guys saw playing time. All 10 guys would record points, with Mason Wujek and Solomon Gustafson leading the way with 8 points apiece.

As a team, the Hawks were cold from the field as they went 20 of 63 for 31.7%, 4 of 18 from 3-point land and 9 of 15 from the foul stripe.

The Hawks will host senior day on Saturday, February 18^th with the Truman State Bulldogs in town. Tip is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
