SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – The Hawks (11-7, 7-3 GLVC) went on the road to No. 16 University of Missouri – St. Louis (15-3, 7-3 GLVC) Tritons on Thursday, January 19
th in GLVC play and fell by the score of 80-69.
QU led by 3 at the halftime break, but the Tritons would outscore the Hawks 52 to 38 in the 2
nd half. UMSL shot 58% from the field in the final half, while holding QU to just 42%. Overall, the Hawks shot 24 of 57 from the field.
The Hawks were led by
Malik Hardmon who posted a career high 29 points on 9 of 17 shooting and 10 of 11 from the free throw line.
Solomon Gustafson and
Zion Richardson also reached double figures with 12 and 10 points each. Richardson also pulled down 11 rebounds.
The Hawks will return home on Saturday, January 21
st when the Missouri S&T Miners come to Pepsi Arena for a 3:00 p.m. start.
