Ottawa, Kan.---The Quincy University Hawks won 17-5 on Tuesday (March 22) at Ottawa. 

The Hawks led 3-2 after the first period, and took a slim one goal lead at 6-5 into the halftime intermission. 

Quincy erupted for seven goals in the third quarter, and tallied on four more in the fourth to complete the 12 goal victory. They outscored Ottawa 11-0 in the second half to improve to 4-4 on the season and win their second game in a row. 

Danielle Robinson continued her fantastic season as she added six goals, while Bianca Johnson had five for the Hawks. Josephina Szmanda dished out two assists and had a three-goal hat trick as well. 

Kelly McClure was solid in the cage and totaled 18 saves for the Hawks. 

Quincy will next play at Maryville on April 2nd (Saturday) at 12:00 PM.
