BOLIVAR, MO---The Quincy University women's basketball team only trailed 29-28 at halftime, but allowed 57 second half points and fell 86-60 on Saturday (Feb 26) afternoon at SBU.
SBU only made 1-15 from 3-point range in the first half, but shot over 60% in their massive second half to run away with the victory.
Nate Shockey led QU with 17 points, while
Jalen Stamps had 14 and
Charles Callier had ten.
QU shot just 32% from the floor, and was only 6-25 (24%) from 3-point range as they played on zero days rest.
The Hawks will rebound at travel to McKendree for the opening round of the GLVC tournament on Monday night at 7pm CT.
