th. This will be the first home GLVC contest for the Hawks in the 2022 season.

Tionne Harris threw for 503 yards which is the most in program history for a single game, surpassing
Andrew Rund who threw for 486 in 2019. He also jumped into sole possession of 3rd all-time for career passing yards with 5,571, just 11 yards shy of Rund who sits in 2nd.
With three games left in the regular season, Harris has thrown for 2,347 yards and sits in fifth for single season passing yards. He has also thrown 20 touchdowns which is currently 5th most in a season.
Paul Sullivan Jr. caught 12 passes which ties him with 4 other receivers for 3rd in single game catches.
Peyten Chappel is now tied for 3rd in career assisted tackles with 148. The Mt. Zion native also sits in 2
nd place for total tackles, just 20 behind
Cody Leonard. He is also 2
nd behind Leonard in solo tackles with 202.
Scouting the Hawks
Last week at No. 20 UINDY, the Hawks fell behind 42-10 at the half. They would try to stage a comeback for the second straight week, but unfortunately fell short. QU got to within a touchdown early in the fourth quarter as they scored 21 unanswered points, but an interception in the red zone would give the Greyhounds the conference win.
On the season Harris has completed 164 of his 276 passes for 2,347 yards and 20 touchdowns. He currently sits 2
nd in the GLVC for most passing yards, trailing only Turner Pullen from McKendree. The last two games, Harris has thrown for 972 yards, which is the only player to do so in GLVC history (dating back to 2012).
In the single game ranks, Harris has thrown the most passing yards in Division II with 503 and the 4
th most with 469 at McKendree. The six touchdown passes in week 2 vs Trinity International is tied for the most in D2 this season.
Tremayne Lee has carried the ball 130 times for 619 yards and seven touchdowns. AJ Hardin is the top Hawk receiver with 27 catches for 471 yards.
Scouting the Bulldogs
The Truman State Bulldogs (6-1, 3-0 GLVC) enter this week on a 6-game winning streak and are receiving votes in the latest AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) poll. They defeated William Jewell College last week by the score of 42-7. The Bulldogs scored the first 35 points and never looked back. They had more than double the yards in which they allowed by WJC. QB Nolan Hair threw for 109 yards, 2 touchdowns and one interception. Running Back Shamar Griffith had his first 100 yard rushing day as a Bulldog.
Hair has completed 117 of 186 passes for 1,131 yards and 11 touchdowns. Griffith has been the top back with 508 yards on 118 carries and five touchdowns. Matt Hall is the top receiver with 28 catches for 285 yards and four touchdowns.
