Hawks Swept at UMSL

ST. LOUIS, MO - The Quincy University women's team fell in three sets against the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Tuesday night (Nov. 2). The Hawks' offense hit .112 as they could not keep up with the Tritons losing the match, 25-22, 25-18, and 25-19.

The Hawks' offense was led by Emily Rehagen, who tallied double digits in three different categories with 11 kills, 13 digs, and 18 receptions. Also supporting Quincy's offense were Mattie Norris and Emma Wijnbergen, who fired eight kills each. Makayla Knoblauch Quincy's setter, tallied 26 assists.

Quincy's defense was led by Norris as she recorded 34 receptions and 12 digs and also assisted on three blocks. As part of the defense were also America Galvan with 17 digs and 9 receptions and Knoblauch with 13 digs, but the efforts ran out short as the Tritons outhit the Hawks and swept all three sets.

Next 
The Hawks will be back in Quincy Friday (Nov. 5) to face the University of Southern Indiana at 7:00 P.M.
