QUINCY, Ill. - The Quincy University football program announced its 2020 class on National Signing Day today (Feb. 5). The Hawks welcome a 45-man recruiting class, including five transfers and 40 high school seniors.

Quincy brought in players from all across the country, hitting six states in the process. The Hawks balanced out the 2020 class with over 15 players on both sides of the ball.

"We could not be more happy about the young men that joined our family today," said head coach Gary Bass. "All in all we have 45 young men that will help us continue to grow as a program. I cannot thank our coaches enough for there hard work in the past few months putting together this class."

Bass is entering his fourth season in 2020 and is looking to build off a 2019 campaign that saw the most wins for the program since the 2016 season.

"Another big thanks goes out to the administration, faculty and our admission department here at QU for all of there help on our recruiting days," said Bass. "We believe we were able to get great men of character that will continue to build the culture of our program. Come pack "The Rock" this fall and see what this team is all about."
